User Management Overview

The User Management module is a core component of NoviERP, designed to manage user accounts, permissions, and roles efficiently. It provides a secure, role-based access system to ensure that users only have access to the resources and actions appropriate to their responsibilities. This module also allows for the linkage of customer and employee accounts to user profiles, enhancing the integration and management of related data.

Users

Users are the individual accounts created within the system, representing employees, customers, or other stakeholders. Each user is assigned a role, which dictates their permissions within the system.

User Management Features:

  • Linking Accounts: When editing a user, you can link a customer account and an employee account related to the user, facilitating seamless data integration.
  • Approver and Substitute: Users can be assigned an approver and a substitute to manage workflow approvals and ensure business continuity in case of absence.
  • Signature Upload: Users can upload their signature for use in document approvals and other authenticated actions within the system.

This module ensures that user data is securely managed and that access to system resources is appropriately controlled based on roles and permissions.
